Delegates must already hold the following:
• N/SVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (Buildings and Structures) or
• Level 3 formal craft qualification that includes Inspection & Testing or
• Recognised Part P competence certification that includes Inspection & Testing.
A pre‐requisite recommendation is BPECs Solar Photovoltaic Systems training course or equivalent
Stand‐alone technical certificates/vocationally related qualifications (VRQ) (non‐competency based) are NOT acceptable

Prior to starting the course, delegates must provide the following:
• Copies of certificates for prior qualifications held
Delegates must bring the following things on day 1 of the course:
• Passport size photographs (x2)
• Basic stationary (Pen, pencil, ruler)
• A calculator
PLEASE NOTE THAT COURSES MAY BE MOVED DUE TO NUMBERS HOWEVER ALL INFORMATION WILL BE COMMUNICATED WELL IN ADVANCE.

The EESS course is specifically aimed at existing practicing electricians, electrical technicians, and engineers with experience of electrical installations, and associated inspection and testing and giving them the necessary training to upskill their existing skills to install EESS.
The objective of this course is for delegates to demonstrate they know and understand the requirements for installing EESS.
The delegates will know the health and safety risks and regulations and standards relating to the installation, testing, and certification/handover of EESS systems.
